As a Website Designer (WordPress) at Propelr, you will be a key contributor to our agency’s mission of delivering exceptional digital experiences to our clients. Your role will involve designing and developing WordPress websites that align with our clients’ goals and brand identities. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and collaborate with our digital marketing team to bring creative visions to life.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Website Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites that meet client specifications, ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance.
  2. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their website requirements, provide design recommendations, and incorporate feedback to deliver custom-tailored solutions.
  3. WordPress Expertise: Utilise your proficiency in WordPress, including theme customisation, plugin integration, and troubleshooting, to build and maintain websites effectively.
  4. Creative Ideation: Collaborate with our digital marketing team to brainstorm and implement innovative web design concepts that enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
  5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality checks to ensure websites are error-free, fully functional, and compatible across different browsers and devices.
  6. Project Management: Manage multiple website design projects concurrently, adhering to project timelines and client expectations.
  7. Stay Updated: Stay informed about the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve your skills and deliver cutting-edge designs.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in designing and developing WordPress websites.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive web design principles.
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

 

Pay & Schedule:

 

Competitive salary of £23,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position, and you will follow a Monday to Friday schedule, working from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, we offer opportunities for professional growth and skill development within our dynamic team.
